79th Independence Day Celebration of Indonesia
The 79th Independence Day of Indonesia was marked by a celebration at the Energy Building, bringing together the building management and the Medco Group family for a day of patriotism, unity, and festivity. The event was a testament to the spirit of independence and the strong community bonds within the Medco family.
The day commenced with the annual flag-raising ceremony, a solemn and significant tradition that was conducted with precision and respect. Following the ceremony, the atmosphere quickly shifted from solemn to festive as the day unfolded with various entertainment activities. A live band took the stage, delivering an energetic performance that had the audience on their feet, singing and dancing along to popular hits. The music added a lively and celebratory tone to the day, enhancing the overall spirit of joy and unity.
One of the most anticipated parts of the event was the distribution of door prizes. The excitement was palpable as names were drawn, with each winner adding to the collective cheer of the crowd. The door prizes not only provided a fun element to the day but also served as a token of appreciation to the Medco family for their continuous hard work and dedication.
This year’s Independence Day celebration also featured the Medco Active Movement, a special initiative aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among employees. The Medco Active Movement included various physical activities and challenges, encouraging participants to engage in fitness routines as part of their daily lives. This initiative was a highlight of the celebration, reflecting Medco Group’s commitment to the well-being of its employees and adding a unique dimension to the Independence Day festivities.
MEDCO Bersatu Untuk Indonesia
Commemorating Indonesia’s Proclamation of Independence Medco held a flag raising ceremony at The Energy Building on August 17th.
The Independence Day celebrations were enlivened by uplifting performances from ME Voices and ME Band, and rounded off with a range of gastronomic offers and attractive prizes, including a Brompton Bicycle as Door Prize.
On this occasion Medco also awarded prizes to the winners of the Medco Games Competition which was held from 22 July to 17 August 2019.
We expect that the 17 August celebrations and activities served to reinforce the relationship between employees and management of Medco Energy and Medco Groups as well as increase synergy and cooperation between companies.
